ARP Wave
The ARP wave is an FDA approved product that works to re-educate muscles and relax muscle spasms. The ARP wave delivers a direct electrical current into the area of negatively charged tissue which follows an injury. As the negative charge is reduced in the tissue, scar tissue becomes lessened, and pain is reduced in the muscle fibers. Blake Chiropractic is one of only a few clinics in the area that offers this state-of-the-art rehabilitation therapy.
Ultrasound Therapy
Thermal ultrasound therapy uses sound waves to penetrate soft tissues to promote healing. By increasing heat and friction of the tissue, this results in an increase in tissue metabolism.
Electrical Muscle Stimulation
E-stim uses mild electrical pulses to target nerves to release natural pain relieving chemicals. E-stim can also be used for muscle re-education by giving the muscle fibers electrical input.
Intersegmental Traction
Roller Table
This table facilitates motion along the spine, which promotes disc health and an increased range of motion within the vertebral joints.
Hydromassage Bed
This therapy is used to provide relief from muscle stiffness and tension through increased blood circulation.
Cupping Therapy
Cupping is a form of massage therapy which decompresses soft tissues using vacuum suction, unlike other forms of massage that compresses soft tissues. During cupping, the cup gently sucks to your skin and lifts underlying soft tissue into the cup. It is used to treat lack of mobility, tight muscles, scars and many diagnoses like headaches, tendinitis, bursitis, plantar fasciitis, fibromyalgia, and release of trigger points.
